Afni WINS celebrates 2024 and plans for 2025!
As we wrap up 2024, the Women's Impact Network for Success (WINS) employee resource group hosted an event from December 5 to 7 to celebrate this year's successes and offer a glimpse of an exciting future ahead.
This event was a moment to reflect on our 2024 journey and welcome new members passionate about empowering women in the workplace. Through WINS, members connect, grow, and help create an inclusive, supportive environment at Afni.
Empowering women, impacting communities
Since its launch in March 2024, WINS has become a powerful force in empowering women at Afni, fostering growth, connection, and a strong sense of belonging.
A key milestone this year was the outreach program on September 7, when WINS members partnered with the Sisters of Margaretha Home for the Blind, supporting underprivileged blind girls and young women. This initiative reflected our core values of giving back and supporting those in need, creating a lasting impact.
Looking ahead: WINS 2025 plans
WINS is planning an even more impactful 2025, with exciting opportunities for growth, connection, and making a difference.
Here's a preview of what's to come in the new year:
- Q1: Confidence building. Kicking off the year with activities to boost confidence and personal development, offering valuable insights to help everyone succeed.
- Q2: Physical health. Focusing on physical well-being, with activities designed to promote a healthier, more active lifestyle.
- Q3: Passion outside of work. Encouraging personal growth and creativity beyond the workplace to help employees find fulfillment both professionally and personally.
- Q4: Season of giving. Continuing our commitment to the community with another impactful outreach initiative.
