Celebrating award-winning employees at the Annual ACE Awards Banquet!
On Saturday, April 22, we hosted our Annual ACE Awards Banquet at The Elements at Centris in Quezon City. The night was a smashing success – truly an evening of glitz, glamour, camaraderie, and celebration of our highest-achieving and longest-tenured employees.
With around 200 of our Philippine leaders and employees in attendance, we also welcomed many global leaders, employees, and clients joining virtually from around the world. The event was a fantastic opportunity to recognize our exceptional employees’ dedication and hard work, and we were delighted to have so many join us to celebrate.
“I’m very excited to be here tonight. This year is made special because we’re also recognizing 21 individuals receiving the Service Award – those who’ve been with us for ten or more years. I want to recognize your resilience and passion for each other and our business. It’s made a huge difference, said Afni Philippines President Doug Jones in his virtual opening remarks. “Congratulations to the ACE Awardees and those receiving a Service Award.”
While 21 employees received the Service Award, 65 individuals received ACE awards in various categories.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the recognition and celebration of some of Afni's highest-achieving employees across all levels of the organization. The Afni Champion Employee (ACE) recognition night recognized the outstanding achievements of employees over the past year in various operations and support team categories.
Vice President and Country Manager Khalid Khursheed started our awards presentation with this statement: “Welcome to the highly anticipated awards night for Afni employees. Tonight, we celebrate those who’ve consistently displayed innovation, teamwork, leadership, and relentless pursuit of excellence. They’ve not only achieved remarkable results but have also demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a genuine passion for their work.”
This year's "Runway" theme added some flair to the night, with guests strutting their stuff on the catwalk (our stage) in stunning outfits. Our talented hosts kept the energy high throughout the night, and the winners of the recent Casting Call talent show entertained us with their musical performances. There were also several raffles for those attending in person, with the winners eagerly sharing their plans for their new loot!
The Laraza band serenaded attendees with lively music as they enjoyed a delicious dinner to cap off the night. In all, a fantastic night to remember.
The ACE Awards Banquet was a night filled with good music and fun. It was an opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the hard work and dedication of Afni's exceptional employees who made significant contributions to the company in 2022.
