Afni employees come together to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
In July, Afni employees from the Bloomington area came together to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the annual Telethon and St. Jude Walk/Runs!
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital works tirelessly to support those caring for and seeking treatment for a child with cancer or another catastrophic disease. These families need help, and thanks to generous donations from people like you, families never receive a bill for the care that St. Jude provides.
And Afni is so proud to support this mission.
For years, Afni and our employees have supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s affiliate in Peoria, Illinois. Through AfniCARES, our employees organize fundraising events in our centers, sign-up to be VIP fundraisers, join a run team, and volunteer to man the phones during the telethon.
This year’s St. Jude run team consisted of six participants who ran a combined total of 85 miles and raised over $6,500! Afni also had nine VIPs answering phones during the telethon who raised over $9,500!
Again proving that Afni is filled with individuals who give their time, energy, money, and more to organizations throughout the communities where we call home. Every dollar raised and donated supports this fantastic organization and lifts the burden felt by families going through the unthinkable.
We’re proud of our St. Jude teams. And we’re proud so many of our employees volunteer their time and expertise, donate money, and passionately support a variety of organizations in our communities. We thank them for their commitment and caring and for being truly #Afnimazing.
