Afni Recognized for Helping Shape the Future of AI and Automation
Afni and its employees are gaining national recognition for leading the way in agentic automation and AI innovation. Two recent events have spotlighted how Afni’s people and technology are influencing the future of intelligent automation – from the global stage of Microsoft’s Power Platform Conference to UiPath’s elite Product Advisory Council.
Afni’s Kaushik Srinivasapuram Wins Microsoft Hackathon for Business Transformation
Afni’s Lead RPA Developer, Kaushik Srinivasapuram, took home first place (individual contribution) in the Hackathon for Business Transformation at the Microsoft Power Platform Conference 2025, standing out among thousands of participants.
The first-ever “agent hackathon” was designed to inspire collaboration and showcase how agentic systems, AI-powered digital agents, can transform business operations.
Kaushik built an AI-powered Insurance Claim Processing Agent within Afni’s environment, leveraging the latest Microsoft Copilot capabilities, including zero-shot prompting and computer use. His innovative solution demonstrated how advanced AI and automation can streamline complex processes while enhancing accuracy and speed.
Reflecting on his experience, Kaushik shared, “It was an incredible opportunity to connect with industry experts and reimagine what the future of Afni could look like through AI, automation, and agentic systems. I’m grateful for the support of our Afni leadership team and excited to keep driving innovation.”

Afni Joins UiPath’s Product Advisory Council
Adding to the recognition, Afni was recently invited to join the UiPath Product Advisory Council, an exclusive group of customers shaping the future of automation technology. Afni earned this invitation for being among the most innovative organizations using UiPath’s platform to push the boundaries of what automation can achieve.
The UiPath FUSION Conference, where the announcement was made, explored how agentic automation combines AI agents, RPA, and human collaboration to expand automation’s possibilities.
Through its participation in the Product Advisory Council, Afni will contribute insights that directly influence UiPath’s product roadmap, strategy, and innovation priorities. The council gathers customer feedback to ensure UiPath’s solutions reflect real-world needs, particularly around trust, transparency, and control in AI-driven environments.
Afni’s Chief Information Officer, Mike Schwermin, shared, “Being part of the UiPath Product Advisory Council is an exciting opportunity for Afni to help shape the tools that are redefining the automation landscape. Our collaboration with UiPath allows us to influence innovation in a way that directly benefits our clients, our people, and the future of intelligent operations.”
This recognition underscores Afni’s commitment to continuous innovation and its leadership in leveraging technology to improve outcomes for clients, employees, and customers alike.
