Afni has announced its expansion to the Philippines. The company launched its inaugural Asia operations in metro Manila in late August, 2012 with a new customer acquisition contact center program supporting a communications industry client.
Located at the Fort Legend Tower in Fort Bonifacio Global City in metro Manila, Afni’s 200-seat contact center serves as the Company’s anchor facility for expansion into Asia.
“Our expansion to the Philippines is an important first step to move our company from a strong and proven U.S. company to a true global brand,” said Ron Greene, Afni President and CEO. “The culture, work ethic, and focus we experience with the Philippines workforce are a great fit for the values that we have held for decades.”
Greene stated the company’s offshore expansion targets contact center and back office programs that are managed offshore today, or are planned for offshore.
Afni Chairman Bruce Griffin said the decision to open operations offshore in the Philippines is a strategic move for the 76-year-old company.
“Adding global locations is an important strategy for us, and the desire of Filipinos to achieve the most and deliver the best is exactly what we were looking for," Griffin said.
"We are simply delighted to open our Asia operations in Manila.”

In addition to its new Manila operations, the Company has a U.S. network of nine contact centers, staffing nearly 5,000 employees, and has an established strategic operations partnership in Nicaragua.
Afni will also continue to focus on growing its exceptionally high quality customer service solutions from its U.S. based operations.
The company recently announced the addition of 135 virtual work-from-home representatives across seven U.S. states, and is adding an additional 80 web chat representatives in Evans, Colorado and Opelika, Alabama.
