Afni Hosts 2017 Food Drive for Community Action of Southern Kentucky

Afni in Bowling Green, KY will host a food drive drop off from November 1-17, 2017 to support the Community Action of Southern Kentucky.  This food drive is open to the public and people are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items during normal operating hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Afni contact center at 2625 Scottsville Road in Bowling Green.

Community Action of Southern Kentucky is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation funded by Federal, state, and local government funding, private contributions, and user fees. They provide a wide array of programs and services for the community, including employment, education, housing, emergency services, community participation, and economic development.

“Our goal is to collect enough items to overfill the local food bank for the winter,” said Afni Human Resources Manager Wayne Kinney. “Working together as a community, we can make a big difference for people in the Bowling Green area.”
